Cast Update 10-9-2023

This will be a very different blog post than usual. I am leaving in editing notes that I normally take out or rarely leave in by mistake. I’m not trying to get this post done as it is already exactly a month since it should have been published and I’m saying that it is. I will try my best to get a completed version of this cast update done next month. This has only one person complete in it.

Here’s a post putting in multiple blogs. As I’m way behind on some blogs that I should be caught up on with some posts being scheduled for the past as they weren’t ready by the date that they should have been up on, I’ve decided that I know longer care about when telling you the posts of any of my blogs will be published either as changes happen or, if there is enough time, before they happen. I hope to get caught up with my Survivor blog and it will include a schedule at some point, but, until then, you’ll have to see when and if blogs will appear.

Jonny Lee Miller: He is in The Covenant. That’s all that I see him doing right now at the moment. Maybe he’ll do more in the future or maybe he won’t. But there isn’t much else to say besides that.

The Covenant: This is currently streaming on Prime Video. It is about a person who tries hard to bring an injured solder to safety during the war in Afghanistan. There is a trailer for this out now.

Thoughts on trailer:

Lucy Liu: She will be in projects. She is in Shazam! Fury of the gods. She’ll be in Exploding Kittens. I hope that doesn’t hurt her in anyway way, but I guess that television and some movie explosions are like that. I even wrote about that in my TV blog. She’s set to appear in A Man in Full. More things that she will be in are Red One and Kung Fu Panda 4. Other projects that she’s set to be in are Jentry Chau versus the Underworld, Old Guy, and Protozoa. That’s a lot of them all at once. ***

Shazam! Fury of the gods: This is out on DVD now. It is a sequel to the film Shazam and part of the DCEU. There is not a plot for this just yet. We’ll find out more about this in the future. I just hope that I’m able to see the first one if I like this if I see this at some point in time. ***

Counterpoint to the previous video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhbWPi38qbg

Exploding Kittens- This has a release year of 2023. It does not have a trailer either. But it does have a plot: God and the devil being sent to earth in the body of housecats. I have no idea what else might happen or where this will air. People on imdb think it will be a Netflix show. ***

A Man in Full: There is set for release in 2023. There should be one at some point in time. It is about a mogul who has to defend his failing empire from those seeking to gain from his failure. This is set to be a miniseries. I’ll find out where later. Maybe I’ll see what it will be like. ***

Red One: The plot of this is being kept a secret right now for some odd reason. It is planned for release in 2023. There is no trailer. I guess we’ll have to wait to see what this may or may not be in the end. And hopefully we’ll find out sooner rather than later. ***

Kung Fu Panda 4: This is set for release on March 29, 2024. It doesn’t have much of a plot mentioned right now so it must best be described as the fourth installment in this franchise. I thought that the third one finished everything, but I guess that they must milk something for all its worth so here it is.

Jentry Chau versus the Underworld: This has an unknown release date. It doesn’t have a trailer yet. It is about a teen with supernatural powers who finds out that a demon king is hunting those powers. What else is new? It seems like it could be interesting, though. ***

Old Guy: This has no release date yet or trailer. This is about an older contract killer who is pulled back into the field to train a new assassin. I’m guessing that this is a film. It could be interesting, but am unsure if there will be people to root for. ***

Protozoa: This is a short. It has no release date or trailer. I’m unsure of what the plot is as what is mentioned on imdb doesn’t seem to make sense at all. Maybe I’ll understand more if this gets far enough in the process to have a trailer released of it. ***

Aidan Quinn: I thought that given his limited role in the final season of Elementary that we might be seeing less of him. Well, it turns out that I was wrong. He will be doing different things. He’ll be in The Gettysburg Address, which I find unlikely since that already happened in the 1860s. Two more things he will be in are Food Fight and Cry from the Sea. That’s a lot of things. ***

The Gettysburg Address: Apparently they are going to milk the whole address into a movie. This seems like a weird choice since Lincoln himself in the address said that people will little remember what they say today. You can check if you don’t believe me. This has a release date of November 19, 2025. And here I was thinking that it already happened in the 1860s.

Food Fight: This has a release date of February 24, 2024. It doesn’t mention much of a plot for this just yet. There is no trailer at the moment. Thus, there is not much else that there is to say about this. What kind of food fight could this be or relate to? I guess we’ll have to see.

Cry from the Sea: This has an unknown release date at the moment. It does not have a trailer yet either. I can’t quite make sense of the plot just yet, but it appears to be about a grieving lighthouse keeper and the three people who change his life. ***

Jon Michael Hill: He might finally be doing something, although I’m a bit unsure and not entirely clear for sure if he has a major role in it. But he is set to be in 61st Street. It is nice to finally see him in something worth covering for once. He is also set to be in A Man in Full, already covered elsewhere in this blog and now covered here as well.

61st Street: This is available now. It is about a high school athlete who winds up swept into the criminal justice system for some reason. We’ll probably have to find out more by seeing it for ourselves some day. There is a trailer for this now:

Trailer link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQpfF9trmi4

Thoughts on trailer: What’s the type of trailer that one could call this anyways? It seems a bit, analytical? I don’t think that’s the right word. I can’t make much out of this, but I guess that it’s supposed to be exciting, although I can’t tell why they don’t include more of the exciting parts other than just music that might not be in the final project.

A Man in Full: There is no release date or trailer for this yet. It is about a mogul who has to defend his failing empire from those seeking to gain from his failure. This is set to be a miniseries. I’ll find out where later. It could be good, but the plot seems overused.

John Noble: He has a lot of projects in the work, so I might as well get to mentioning all of them. One is Nameless. A different one is called Stream. Yet another is called Guardians of Luna. I wonder if they’ll all get made. He’s also in something new called Call Waiting. I wonder what all he’ll show up in randomly. He is doing Twilight of the Gods. And he is in Star Trek: Prodigy. He does a lot. He will be in the new season of Severance. He is also in The Demon Disorder. ***

Nameless: This could be interesting. It has no release date or trailer just yet. The plot relates to lost souls facing struggles with their past. It seems like it could be a good film, but it is hard to tell or know yet for sure. It seems like it could be good. ***

Stream: In this movie, telepathy is made possible, but it could have unforeseen outcomes. This seems like a possible basic premise for Downsizing with a different element of sci-fi used instead. There is not yet a trailer and there’s no release date yet. It only lists his role as rumored, so the movie could wind up happening, but not have him in it. ***

Guardians of Luna: This plot might be hard to keep track of. So there are werewolves that are part of a cursed town and there’s a war on humans potentially. It has no release date yet nor a trailer. But it does sound pretty interesting. ***

Call Waiting: This is has no plot listed yet. It’s year of release is unknown at the time. I guess that we will find out later what will happen with this and what the plot of this short might be. Until then, I guess we’ll just wait and see what will happen with it. ***

Twilight of the gods: There is no known plot for this at this point in time. It is set to be a TV series of some sort. The current release date is unknown. There is no trailer yet, either. So what else is worth keeping track of here for now? Not much. ***

Star Trek: Prodigy: This is currently on Paramount+. There is a trailer for this that I will talk about some. It is animated and seeks to use teens in a stolen vessel to explore the galaxy. It was renewed for a second season already. ***

Trailer link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBE7d8sH5Rg

Thoughts on trailer: A lot of trailers are like this. They look great and make the show look great, but are also cliché and generic. Plus, I don’t know if there is some rule that says that all Star Trek TV shows are only allowed on streaming. I’m sad that we will never see this discussed in an episode of The Big Bang Theory. Anyways, this show looks like it could be interesting, but I doubt that I’ll be able to see it.

Severance: This is a TV show. It is out now. The plot is about a company that is trying to take work-life balance to a new level, according to the internet movie database. That involves splitting their minds into two in a way. ***

The Demon Disorder: I had no idea that Republicanism was also called this. Actually, this is about a family secret leading to revenge from beyond the grave. But there is probably a way to placate the evil spirit by doing something of some sort or another. Anyways, it has no release date at the moment. ***

Desmond Harrington: There is nothing for him that is showing up right now. It is interesting how he was supposed to be in a movie that had trouble coming to life and that movie won’t see the light of day since it won’t be made at all.

James Frain: He doesn’t have any projects in the works right now that imdb is mentioned. I took out the one that was there since it isn’t there anymore. There isn’t too much else to say about him at the time so hopefully, we will be doing something at some point in time. ***

Robert Doherty: He does not seem to have any projects in the works right now. Maybe something will come of the project that was in the updates, but I am not ready to add that back here yet as I just don’t see that as happening for sure right now, even if it is back on imdb. We’ll see what I do. ***

Emily Procter: She hasn’t done much since CSI: Miami ended. She is a mom so I don’t know if that means she’d be acting less. Maybe she’ll do something at some point. But I don’t see anything that she’s doing just yet. Maybe I’ll see more later. ***

Khandi Alexander: She is set to be in Bat Boy. I guess that all it took for her to do something was me being away from this blog for a very long time. I had done bad in the first post after hiatus by assuming that anyone that had no project typically would still be that way. But I am set to fix that in the second cast update of each blog after hiatus. Let’s hope that I don’t make that assumption again. ***

Bat Boy: This is set for release in 2023. It is about an autistic boy fascinated with the local bats that live nearby that enlists a biologist to help find them when they go missing. It could be good so I hope that I can see it. ***

Kim Delaney: She hasn’t been doing much that I can see right now. Maybe she will do more or maybe not. I can hope that she does something, but maybe this will leave me with one less person to deal with covering in this blog. ***

Jorja Fox: While she isn’t doing anything since leaving CSI: Vegas as of yet (she does not have to at all by any means as she can retire from acting or simply do other jobs), I am going to include her in this blog now since she won’t be part of CSI: Vegas anymore. ***

Mel Rodriguez: It looks like he’s finally doing something. He might have even been doing that since the end of the hiatus that I didn’t know about before. Anyways, he is set to be in The Residence. We’ll see what else he might appear in as more happens. ***

The Residence: This has an unknown release date at the moment. It doesn’t have a trailer either. But it does have a plot: the staff of the White House interacting with the first family. This might be a streaming show, but I’m not sure yet. ***

Adam Rodriguez: We’ll see what all he might do in the future. Now after it was originally cancelled before it was ever made, a reboot of Criminal Minds appears to be in the future for him. It is now called Criminal Minds: Evolution. He will also be in Winter Spring Summer or Fall. That really narrows it down to one of the four seasons. It could be any season, really. ***

Criminal Minds: Evolution: This will be on Paramount+ and a new series than the previous one, but a reboot featuring characters from the original show. It is out now on Paramount+. It is about an UnSub who used the pandemic to create serial killers. This will not at all reinforce many people’s ideas that the virus wasn’t the real problem in regards to the pandemic (sarcasm, of course). Of course, they probably have to be caught in the typical villain of the week format. ***

Winter Spring Summer or Fall: This has an unknown release date at the moment. It also doesn’t have a trailer. Another thing that it lacks that it should have is commas. What is up with the lack of commas? You would find it annoying if there aren’t commas that should be there right? Wouldn’t you want to I don’t know naturally pause where you should you know pause? Anyways, two teens fall in love over four days of the year in this movie that might be a remake. ***

Rex Linn: While he was in a TV show, that show was cancelled and he doesn’t have any other projects that are upcoming yet. He has appeared in episodes of Young Sheldon in a recurring role, but I’m not going to give that its own section of this blog yet. I might include posts of it from my TV blog in the future at some point in time. ***

What I can do in this blog for now is cover the TV blog posts I did about Big Sky by sharing links to past ones in this blog until I do the as of yet unwritten cancelled shows post that will include it as well. I hope that you enjoy these in the meantime until I’m out of things to say about it here.

https://adamdeckertv.blogspot.com/2021/02/why-big-sky-controversy-matters.html ***

Paul Guilfoyle: He has five projects in the works right now. The first is Any Day Now. The second is Arthur the King. The third is The Mothership. The fourth is Can’t Go Home. The fifth is Polara. There’s nothing else right now. ***

Any Day Now: This has no release date right now or trailer. It is about a stoner who might have stolen money, but apparently doesn’t realize that he’s done this? I’m not sure that I make sense of the potential plot just yet. ***

Arthur the King: Apparently having nothing to do with the King Arthur legend, this is instead about a racer adopting a dog named Arthur. It has no release date or trailer just yet. I’ll see what else it has to offer later when more is known. ***

The Mothership: This is set for release in 2023. It is about a woman and her kids who are looking for her missing husband after finding an alien object beneath their home. It could be good, if not obvious in some places. We’ll have to see. ***

Can’t Go Home- This is set for release on December 29, 2023. If I understand the plot correctly, some people are up to terrible ways and may pay the price in some way. I don’t think that I’ll get a full sense of the plot until the trailer comes out, which it hasn’t yet at the moment I first wrote this paragraph. This isn’t on imdb anymore.

Polara: This has no release date or trailer. This is a movie named after a car and seems to be a coming of age drama based on potential mysteries in the past of the person’s life in addition to other, major characters of various importance. ***

Eric Szmanda: He doesn’t have any projects in the works right now. He has appeared again as Greg Sanders in three episodes of CSI: Vegas so far. We’ll see if anything more long term appears in the future or not. I have not yet heard or seen anything myself so I guess we’ll see what, if anything, happens. ***

Eva LaRue: She will be in something called Insane. I don’t see any other projects of her mentioned at the moment. So I guess that we’ll have to see if more will come along or not. I like having less to keep track of myself. ***

Insane: This has no release date at the moment. It does have a plot of a man who thinks that he has a cure for something being told that he has mental issues instead. I hope that this isn’t an antivax short. Anyways, here’s a trailer: ***

Trailer link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt22035526/?ref_=nm_flmg_unrel_1_act

Thoughts on trailer: So I’m a bit confused as to how this could be a personality disorder. But it could be interesting since it has a lot that it could fit in its short amount of time. I hope to see it someday and hope that there is an answer at the end of this.

Cast Update 9-11-2023

I swear that when it comes to my blog posts and cast updates this month, I am trying to some extent to get things done, yet they keep turning into one terrible post after another. I didn’t really try with this one as it is so incomplete that I added very little and you won’t find a worst cast update of any blog of mine yet.

Jonny Lee Miller: It seems that he currently has only one project that I know of in the work. It is the newest season of The Crown. I don’t see anything else of his at the moment. Hopefully there will be more in the future.

The Crown: This is a Netflix series. I doubt that I’ll be able to watch it ever or any time soon. It is available now. Jonny will be in the fifth season or series if you will. He will play the role of John Major. There’s not much else to say about it.

Shazam! Fury of the gods: This is out on DVD now. It is a sequel to the film Shazam and part of the DCEU. There is not a plot for this just yet. We’ll find out more about this in the future. I just hope that I’m able to see the first one if I like this if I see this at some point in time.

Exploding Kittens- This has a release year of 2023. It does not have a trailer either. But it does have a plot: God and the devil being sent to earth in the body of housecats. I have no idea what else might happen or where this will air. People on imdb think it will be a Netflix show.

A Man in Full: There is set for release in 2023. There should be one at some point in time. It is about a mogul who has to defend his failing empire from those seeking to gain from his failure. This is set to be a miniseries. I’ll find out where later. Maybe I’ll see what it will be like.

Red One: The plot of this is being kept a secret right now for some odd reason. It is planned for release in 2023. There is no trailer. I guess we’ll have to wait to see what this may or may not be in the end. And hopefully we’ll find out sooner rather than later.

Kung Fu Panda 4: This is set for release on March 29, 2024. It doesn’t have much of a plot mentioned right now so it must best be described as the fourth installment in this franchise. I thought that the third one finished everything, but I guess that they must milk something for all its worth so here it is.

The Demon Disorder: I had no idea that Republicanism was also called this. Actually, this is about a family secret leading to revenge from beyond the grave. But there is probably a way to placate the evil spirit by doing something of some sort or another. Anyways, it has no release date at the moment.

What I can do in this blog for now is cover the TV blog posts I did about Big Sky by sharing links to past ones in this blog until I do the as of yet unwritten cancelled shows post that will include it as well. I hope that you enjoy these in the meantime until I’m out of things to say about it here.

Paul Guilfoyle: He has five projects in the works right now. The first is Any Day Now. The second is Arthur the King. The third is The Mothership. The fourth is Can’t Go Home. The fifth is Polara. There’s nothing else right now.

Any Day Now: This has no release date right now or trailer. It is about a stoner who might have stolen money, but apparently doesn’t realize that he’s done this? I’m not sure that I make sense of the potential plot just yet.

Arthur the King: Apparently having nothing to do with the King Arthur legend, this is instead about a racer adopting a dog named Arthur. It has no release date or trailer just yet. I’ll see what else it has to offer later when more is known.

The Mothership: This is set for release in 2023. It is about a woman and her kids who are looking for her missing husband after finding an alien object beneath their home. It could be good, if not obvious in some places. We’ll have to see.

Eva LaRue: She will be in something called Insane. I don’t see any other projects of her mentioned at the moment. So I guess that we’ll have to see if more will come along or not. I like having less to keep track of myself.

Insane: This has no release date at the moment. It does have a plot of a man who thinks that he has a cure for something being told that he has mental issues instead. I hope that this isn’t an antivax short. Anyways, here’s a trailer:

Trailer link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt22035526/?ref_=nm_flmg_unrel_1_act

Thoughts on trailer: So I’m a bit confused as to how this could be a personality disorder. But it could be interesting since it has a lot that it could fit in its short amount of time. I hope to see it someday and hope that there is an answer at the end of this.

Cast Update 8-7-2023

There’s nothing to add in this introduction other than the fact that unlike last month’s update, this one is complete. It wasn’t that hard to do as this is somehow an easier blog for me to update than a lot of others are. So enjoy this post.

Here’s a paragraph worth posting in multiple blogs. You see, since there is a writer’s strike that has affected production in television and movies, I might as well keep you informed about the fact that there is a strike going on, that it is affecting various productions, and different things can change about that. Since it will, I might as well cover it and post another update when the strike ends in the future. The writer’s strike even lead to an actor’s strike that is also affecting things as well.

Lucy Liu: She will be in projects. She is set to be in Shazam! Fury of the gods. Yet another thing she is doing in the future is The Invisibles. And she’ll be in Exploding Kittens.

Shazam! Fury of the gods: This is out on DVD now. It is a sequel to the film Shazam and part of the DCEU. There is not a plot for this just yet. We’ll find out more about this in the future. I just hope that I’m able to see the first one if I like this if I see this at some point in time.

Enjoy this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxhqTdZJ_rg

Catch up on the original Shazam by watching this:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBhgjMH_6A4

The Invisibles: There is no release date for this yet. There also is no trailer either. But there is a plot for it. A man in a failing marriage starts to disappear and finds a new world of people who have disappeared like him as well. If I had to guess, he would overcome this problem, but maybe this won’t be the case after all? It might be nice to see for just that reason and if the movie’s ending is good. This is gone from imbd so will probably be cut from this blog sometime.

Jentry Chau versus the Underworld: This has an unknown release date. It doesn’t have a trailer yet. It is about a teen with supernatural powers who finds out that a demon king is hunting those powers. What else is new? It seems like it could be interesting, though.

Old Guy: This has no release date yet or trailer. This is about an older contract killer who is pulled back into the field to train a new assassin. I’m guessing that this is a film. It could be interesting, but am unsure if there will be people to root for.

Protozoa: This is a short. It has no release date or trailer. I’m unsure of what the plot is as what is mentioned on imdb doesn’t seem to make sense at all. Maybe I’ll understand more if this gets far enough in the process to have a trailer released of it.

The Gettysburg Address: Apparently they are going to milk the whole address into a movie. This seems like a weird choice since Lincoln himself in the address said that people will little remember what they say today. You can check if you don’t believe me. This has a release date of November 19, 2025.

Nameless: This could be interesting. It has no release date or trailer just yet. The plot relates to lost souls facing struggles with their past. It seems like it could be a good film, but it is hard to tell or know yet for sure. It seems like it could be good.

Guardians of Luna: This plot might be hard to keep track of. So there are werewolves that are part of a cursed town and there’s a war on humans potentially. It has no release date yet nor a trailer. But it does sound pretty interesting.

Call Waiting: This is has no plot listed yet. It’s year of release is unknown at the time. I guess that we will find out later what will happen with this and what the plot of this short might be. Until then, I guess we’ll just wait and see what will happen with it.

Twilight of the gods: There is no known plot for this at this point in time. It is set to be a TV series of some sort. The current release date is unknown. There is no trailer yet, either. So what else is worth keeping track of here for now? Not much.

Star Trek: Prodigy: This is currently on Paramount+. There is a trailer for this that I will talk about some. It is animated and seeks to use teens in a stolen vessel to explore the galaxy. It was renewed for a second season already.

The Demon Disorder: I had no idea that Republicanism was also called this. Actually, this is about a family secret leading to revenge from beyond the grave. But there is probably a way to placate the evil spirit by doing something of some sort or another. Anyways, it has no release date at the moment.

Robert Doherty: He does not seem to have any projects in the works right now. Maybe something will come of the project that was in the updates, but I am not ready to add that back here yet as I just don’t see that as happening for sure right now, even if it is back on imdb. We’ll see what I do.

Emily Procter: She hasn’t done much since CSI: Miami ended. She is a mom so I don’t know if that means she’d be acting less. Maybe she’ll do something at some point. But I don’t see anything that she’s doing just yet. Maybe I’ll see more later.

Bat Boy: This is set for release in 2023. It is about an autistic boy fascinated with the local bats that live nearby that enlists a biologist to help find them when they go missing. It could be good so I hope that I can see it.

Kim Delaney: She hasn’t been doing much that I can see right now. Maybe she will do more or maybe not. I can hope that she does something, but maybe this will leave me with one less person to deal with covering in this blog.

Jorja Fox: While she isn’t doing anything since leaving CSI: Vegas as of yet (she does not have to at all by any means as she can retire from acting or simply do other jobs), I am going to include her in this blog now since she won’t be part of CSI: Vegas anymore.

Mel Rodriguez: It looks like he’s finally doing something. He might have even been doing that since the end of the hiatus that I didn’t know about before. Anyways, he is set to be in The Residence.

The Residence: This has an unknown release date at the moment. It doesn’t have a trailer either. But it does have a plot: the staff of the White House interacting with the first family. This might be a streaming show, but I’m not sure yet.

Winter Spring Summer or Fall: This has an unknown release date at the moment. It also doesn’t have a trailer. Another thing that it lacks that it should have is commas.
