November 27th 2016’s Episode

Why is a new episode right after Thanksgiving? Remember last year when a new episode of this show was aired on Thanksgiving itself? When will TV know that there are just certain times that you shouldn’t air new shows? Well, I was able to make it home in time for some of the episode, but not all of it, due to my unusual thing I do happening once again. I’m hoping that I am able to watch other episodes and I probably will be since Quantico is going on hiatus soon. ABC may be strange by putting its good dramas on winter hiatuses season after season, but it gives us a break from some shows and the ability to watch other things that they air instead.

There are actually multiple books that I’m reading right now. The main group of them that I’m trying to read right now consists of five books. Deadly Heat by Richard Castle (ghostwritten) is one of the books. Since Castle ended, I’m trying to rotate through all these books by reading one of them on Monday. This book started the read on Mondays rule. I rotate through the books in a certain order where whatever is on top is then read and moved to the bottom in favor of the next book. Anyways, Deadly Heat isn’t as good or interesting as I would want it to be. I’ve been reading that since 2014 after my sister lent me her copy of that. She had lent me the eighth Harry Potter book too at one point, but that wasn't in this rotation.

The next book in line is the second book of the Sentinels series. This may be the first time that I actually got a book because I knew the author of it first. This book is the most recent addition to the rotation of mine, added in 2016. The next book in line is Lights! Camera! Fiction! This book is to help the aspiring script writer, namely me. It is the only book that has been taken away from the rotation for extend periods of time as I have to watch a certain movie before I can finish watching it. This is the oldest of the five books in the rotation in terms of how long I’ve been reading it compared to the others.

The next book is line is Amazonia by James Rollins. I love James Rollins and this is probably my favorite of the five in the rotation as it is the easiest to read due to the action and suspense. I also think that this is the one that I’m the farthest in at the moment. I’ve been reading this since around when I got it as a birthday present back in 2012. The last book in the rotation is the Silmarilon by J. R. R. Tolkien. Some people want this as a movie. I do not like the book that much. This is probably the slowest read of all of the books in my rotation. This is not the same great Tolkien that we are used to.

Today’s episode is brought to you by 49 minute delay. We begin with Watson getting a note from Sherlock. Someone shows up at their apartment looking for Sherlock. Why do Watson and Sherlock live together? I’ve always found that to be strange. It appears that Sherlock is skipping out on meetings he’s supposed to attend. There is a strange murder that has happened regarding someone who was eaten or something strange like that.

The second act has Sherlock, Watson, and Marcus at the autopsy place. A poisoned sausage is the cause of death and a person was what the sausage was made out of. Watson notices that Sherlock is with a bunch of musicians at a park. Watson and Marcus talk to a person about the case as they try to figure out who one of the victims is.

The third act has Sherlock and Marcus investigating the meat industry. We get to people in a lab and people talk about the case. Joaquin is identified as the victim. Brendan, who I will refer to as the Dollhouse guy at times, is a person at the lab who they talk to briefly. Watson reveals that she knows that Sherlock hasn’t been going to his meetings. He knows that she followed him to the park. Sherlock thinks that he’s smarter than everyone else. He then makes different meat. There is more information revealed about the case as Sherlock learns more about it. The suspect reveals information about the case that she didn’t do, even though she did other, unrelated murders.

It was around the 10:30 mark when I start watching. There are commercials still so I basically start watching from the next point forward. Marcus talks about the case at hand and believes that some work may have been doctored. Who is Marcus talking to? Is it Tommy that he’s talking to? Anyways, Sherlock talks to the person who fudged the data. Wasn’t he Topher on Dollhouse? I love Dollhouse! I recommend that people watch that show. They talk more about the meat that was poisoned.

Once again, Sherlock frightens Watson with something unusual when she wakes up. Apparently there are three types of meat in a way. There is some sort of relation to Kosher. My aunt married a Jewish person so maybe I should ask her more about Kosher. I don’t fully understand it or why the non orthodox Jews would be bound by that. The character that the Dollhouse alumni plays says that he didn’t kill Joaquin, the victim. But Sherlock and company think otherwise.

The next act has more of the case as they look for who pushed someone down the stairs. Watson is frustrated that they haven’t been able to solve this case with stupid people as the criminals as they have solved other cases with smarter criminals. Although, lawyers tell me that all criminals are stupid. The two main suspects are confronted by Sherlock and Watson. Brendan (the Dollhouse guy) may get the harder punishment even if he was the lesser of the two conspirators. But, it appears that the CEO gets charged with the biggest crime after all.

Sherlock then goes to his recovery meeting. Have other versions of Sherlock Holmes had drug problems? There are no scenes from next time as they air a promo for Survivor instead and, in recent memory, this is the longest that I have gone without seeing the most recent Survivor episode. There were tons of problems that prevented me from seeing it live and I still haven’t seen it yet. Hopefully I’ll have time to watch that pretty soon. November 6th 2016’s Episode

Before I had any other blog, I had a blog about just TV in general. That’s basically because I wanted to write reviews about shows, but had no reason to do this without a blog that would include it. For the moment, updates of this blog are locked in on Saturdays, although this could and probably will change in the future. I make a promise to my blog readers to update every blog of mine at a bare minimum of once a month. Of course, you’ll see more of that when I mention other blogs in the future.

I will tell you more about what blogs I have in future posts. I tend to have some sort of introduction to my blog posts whenever there is a new episode of a show for me to write about. I don’t really know why I do this, but I feel that there is always something interesting to talk about besides the actual show. I mean, there’s always something interesting in the world, right?

In case you were wondering what happened with this episode, there was a delay of when it would air because of a sports game earlier. There were also complications that got me separated from TV, in a way, some of that Sunday. But this is later than it should be since I put it on tape and watched some of it later. I couldn’t even get into it immediately after Quantico ended.

Today’s episode brought to you by 50 minute delay. We begin with Shinwell and Watson talking about stuff. We then switch to a creepy guy by the looks of it. After hearing gun shots, a body comes slamming into his house. Talk about an intro.

The second act has Marcus, Sherlock, and Watson looking at the dead body at a morgue. Sherlock thinks that the victim is a sexual predator. This means that the killer could be a vigilante. They talk to the victim’s wife and brother-in-law about the case. Sherlock stops by the place where the site was set up at, but I’m not sure if he makes any headway there. There are continued issues with Shinwell that Watson and Sherlock try to help with. They think that they found the catfish.

The third act is when it is suspected that Novack, the victim, might have been going after some women online. They interview someone who they suspect is innocent, but they have to prove it. I think that this was the guy that we saw on the phone at the beginning of the episode. He had set up recordings of what he was planning on doing with a minor and that’s how he has footage of the murder. Sherlock goes through different suspects that were shamed and goes into the only one that is still around in the country. They talk to the suspect in question. He gives information as to why he isn’t the killer. Sherlock and Watson then get a call from Marcus who gives them more information about the case.

The fourth act has Marcus and Sherlock talking to a woman who they think might be responsible for some sort of part of the case. I wonder how many innocent suspects they talk to on this show. I know that all mystery shows do that, but they seem to have an excessive amount of that. Watson wants Shinwell to be a private detective.

It is at this point around the 10:30 mark that I start watching. Sherlock is on his computer looking for information relating to the case. They go after a suspected person who might have committed the crime. He gives an explanation relating to his part in some illegal activity that he didn’t actually do this particular crime of murder.

The next act has Watson and Sherlock doing more of the case. Watson was tearing up in a way. I didn’t exactly understand why. This discussion leads to one of the many aha! moments that leads Sherlock to the perpetrator of the case. They have the evidence against a woman from earlier. She then confesses to the crime. Sherlock then goes after an old friend, I’m guessing. He wants to frame this person for a crime. I don’t fully understand what that’s about. There are then two random black guys that I’m guessing are important to future episodes I’ve probably already seen by now.

On the next Elementary, there is a cook related to a murder or something or other. It can typically always be hard to tell for sure what’s happening with a certain upcoming episode. This is probably by design. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

October 23rd 2016’s Episode

Before the first official episode would be blogged about, I decided that I could blog about an episode from before it that I had recorded on tape. Yes, I’m a weirdo who still uses VHS tapes on a regular basis. I hope that nothing bad ever happens to the VCRs that I have. Anyways, let get to the beginning of the episode that I haven’t seen yet, then the rest of the episode which I watched when it first aired and wrote about in a different font.

Today’s episode is brought to you by 35 minute delay. We begin with a brief recap of things that I don’t fully understand or remember. A person who I believe is Tommy is talking to Paige, his girlfriend. She ends up talking to Sherlock some. She wants to hire Sherlock for a private case of some sort. (Did you know that the pirate with an eye patch was a private eye? That’s what happened to it.) We then get to a guy who is killed while listening to what I believe to be the original version of Higher Love and not the version that the strange Hershey’s commercials has done.

The second act has Sherlock coming back and Watson is hoping that there aren’t bodies in the bag that he has brought. They then learn about a case that must have been at a nudist retreat. It then goes to Beth who was kidnapped a week ago. They go to her husband who talks more about the case. They are shown more video of the case. Sherlock does more of Paige’s case and learns that her insurance lapsed. The team finds a van that was used in the kidnapping. They talk more to Beth’s husband.

The third act is when Sherlock goes visit tech guys and learns more about the case. Beth’s husband wanted a divorce by the looks of it. Aaron is the name of Beth’s husband. There are planned anniversary cards that she was planning on sending out. But it seems to be mostly her doing that and not him. Sherlock and Watson talk to a radio show person about the case. They then get computer files about an abduction near a basketball game. It is around this point where my past self will take over. This may seem a bit confusing as I will not know all that I was talking about just now.

It is at this point around the 10:00 mark that I start watching the episode. Sherlock is talking to a person relating to the case. In his classic Sherlock ways, he asks whether she is going broke or not. A person is arrested relating to the case. He says that he is not the person on camera that they think did the crime. He gives information about the case that leads them after many mobsters.

The next act has Sherlock playing Get Me Some Loving (or is it Lovin’?) on his violin. I’ll have to read Hound of the Baskervilles sometime since I have not actually read a Sherlock Holmes book just yet. But I might have to just to see if it mentions him playing a violin. I remember a violin in the Robert Downey Jr. movie labeled Sherlock Holmes.

Anyways, Sherlock talks about Paige from earlier. Sherlock wants a random(?) person to marry Paige. This is despite the fact that Sherlock was glad that this person got out of his first marriage. A person who was held hostage talks about how she was able to escape from people who held her hostage. Maybe I’ll understand more of this later, although you won’t see it mentioned well in this blog post. Sherlock doesn’t believe her story and thinks that she kidnapped herself. Tommy is the person that I thought was random, but wasn’t.

The next act has Sherlock wondering more about the case. It’s kind of hard to summarize this part. Apparently Beth, the person who was supposedly kidnapped, has breasts that reveal her lies somehow. It makes sense watching it in a way. I wish that I could phrase what was said in a good way, but I’m not that good at summarizing things which is sad since I want to be a professional writer in the future.

On the next Elementary, there’s an “out of this world motive” for a new case. Boy, I’m glad that this whole election has been put behind us. Sorry, but an election ad aired after the promo and before the late news. But I should have enough of that by now. I just wonder if anyone I wanted to win whatever election actually won. February 19th 2017’s Episode

Why does it seem like every week, there’s another notable death in the world? What’s up with that? I just don’t understand why this keeps happening. Sure, people die, but some notable person every week? And I thought that last year was bad. Why must famous people keep dying?

The first weekend between the last movie watching that I did was spent by me being on vacation to the baptism of my cousin once removed. It was nice seeing him for the first time. I didn’t have free time that first weekend, so let’s get to the next one. On Saturday, I watched Free Willy. I replaced it with Finding Dory. On Sunday, I watched the last of the Nature Documentaries. I replaced that with The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Thus, the items from the second dissolved Sunday list that wound up in the new Sunday list are all replaced, should the last item to be moved not wind up on this list (if that makes sense). Now the only choices on the list are stuff from when it was Friday’s list, from Sunday’s first dissolved list, and the replacement choices. (Had I told you about that?) There was no movie watching the next weekend as I was busy with my sister’s baby shower.

I have no idea at the moment when the next new episode will air. It might not be until March or it could be sooner. All of the special events that seem to be happening in February seems to preempt the usual programming. I remember in 2015 when most of the Sunday shows on CBS were on hiatus the whole month of February, which is odd since February is a sweeps month. I’m sure that there was a reason, however strange it might have been. What’s more telling is that they aired the rest of CSI early into that time of year instead of waiting for a better time and putting it with actual lead-ins.

Well, it actually a confusing night for both me and CBS. If this blog were linked up with my Madam Secretary blog, it would be messed up now as this show was new tonight at it wasn’t on. They aired The Good Fight for the only time on TV at seven while NCIS: Los Angeles had a weird airtime at 8 before they aired this show. FOX shows were normal.

They were airing a golf tournament that cut into what should have been the local news before primetime on CBS. They cut out the eastern time zone feed to start primetime on time on this coast. Only they weren’t finished with it so they moved the coverage to the golf channel. This is only the second time that I’ve seen them move the coverage of a sport event to a cable channel to do primetime. This is the first time that there wasn’t a delay of any kind. Now was that channel not airing anything at this time? It seems weird that they switched whatever they were airing to that event. Of course, it was weirder the last time that they switched that it took them 16 minutes before the switch to actually do it. I bet people without the cable channel or internet (where it was also airing live) were screaming curses at their TV for this Heidi moment.

Today’s episode is brought to you by no delay. We begin with a recap of what is happening with Shinwell and his daughter. I didn’t remember that he had one. Watson talks to him some. She wants to see him finally. We then get to a podcaster. He is playing a video game. But people who watch this notice a criminal coming after him. They don’t know where he is in New York or if he is dead.

The second act has the team looking at the potential case. I love how this is getting into the world of gaming that happens online. I wonder if they are talking about speedrunning or other types of playing. Watson talks about it and hears from Sherlock about the case. He was able to find the body due to the nearby billboard. He has what appears to be a buzz cut. When did that happen and why? I have no idea, from what I can remember. Shinwell talks to his daughter after her school gets out. She says that she’s in trouble, but we don’t find out how just yet. Sherlock talks to people relating to the murder. A person gives good information and tells them the real name of the victim. The team finds a weapon that possibly relates to the case.

The third act has Sherlock thinking that a person who was suspected of the crime was actually framed for it. Sherlock offers yet another one of his famous theories during this time, but I find it hard to understand right now. Why am I so easily confused? A woman comes in and she relates to animal rights people. Why are they always portrayed as weirdos? I’m not sure what seal hunting has to do with the case. They find out that the gamer supported seal hunting and that related to his murder. If that’s what an animal rights person would do, then they are more than just weird.

Shinwell talks to Watson about his daughter and the possible problem she’s in. It turns out that this person who wants her romantically, but she’s not interested. They do more with the case and the Asian guy from earlier is investigated as a possible suspect. Apparently he thinks that the escort people he works with aren’t good people. Are any of the good people? This is an actual link to human trafficking being investigated.

The fourth act has more information about the human trafficking crime. Shinwell then talks to this person that’s bugging his daughter and makes him an offer to leave her alone. Carla, whoever she is, is interrogated by Marcus and Tommy. She gives them information about what is going on. I’m losing track of a lot of what is going on this act. I just know that Sherlock thinks that global warming is responsible for the murder. Also, how can some thick headed people still not get it through their head that global warming is real? 97% of scientists say that it is? Is there not enough evidence? I should not ever have the windows in my car down in February, but I did on just Friday.

The fifth act takes us to a random traffic jam. Sherlock and Marcus go after the person who might end up being the final suspect of the night. Once again, I don’t fully understand what is going on. They find out that a firm hired the hit. They investigate Raina and learn from her that she is the person who was largely responsible for most of the mess regarding the main murder. Shinwell then talks to his daughter again and they part ways for now.

There are no scenes from next time, which is to be expected since they are airing The Oscars next week. There is an upcoming change in this blog. During Advent, you saw this posted on Sundays. That was because my Survivor blog was moved on Thursdays and this blog was moved there instead. Now it will be moving to Sundays again during Lent. I will alternate Sundays when I post this blog, meaning that it won’t be every Sunday that you see it updated here, but every other Sunday. This won’t last forever, though as I will be back on Thursdays.

On Maundy Thursday, which is on April 13^th this year, you should start seeing these posts on Thursdays again. The main change that this will bring is the order of the episodes that I’m updating this in. I didn’t want to go out of order on any of my blogs again, but this might be the only way to keep up on this blog. First, you should see three older episodes from this season that I haven’t put on this blog yet. Then, I’ll go from the next episode that airs for as long as I’m posting on Sundays. I should be back to current episodes when I get back to Thursdays and should be posting the oldest unposted episode in the event that I’m not able to post the newest one.

When I get back to Thursday updates, this blog should be updated on every Thursday even if there wasn’t a new episode the previous Sunday. I do plan on posting the season finale last this season. I don’t know yet if this season will be the last one or if it will return for another one. Things are not looking good now for another season. But, it could come back with a surprise renewal ala The Mentalist. I don’t know what will happen with this show yet. We’ll see in the future. I’d like this show to continue, but it might not. Also, this blog is sort of linked up with my blog about Madam Secretary so when I post episodes about that, I’ll post episodes here that relate to that. I’m behind on updating that blog, which can be helpful for this blog and the at least three posts I’m behind on. I could get behind on more, although I hope that I don’t. January 29th 2017’s Episode

I believe that the AFC championship game will cause the preemption of this show. I write this in the past as we’ll know later when the episode aired, as evidenced by the title that it will have. I just hope that it ends on time and they don’t air a stupid post game show afterwards which would cut into what I want to watch after it. We’ll see if that happens or not.

I wonder if these games are done differently each year as I don’t remember this game airing in most of primetime since Scorpion was a new show. But they aired a 45 minute post game show starting at nine which was supposed to be when Scorpion started. If they delay the first ever episode of Hunted, then they are screwing themselves over a lot. Plus, why is its premiere not at its usual timeslot? I always get annoyed when shows do that. If you are going to air a new show for the first time, it should be when it will always air. This supposed great lead-in could wind up dooming that show I’m not sure would have lasted long anyways.

Let’s get to all the movie watching that I was doing since the last new episode aired. I watched the movie Fireproof and replace it on the list with Free Willy. I was also watching The Hobbit movie series and the next one to watch is the extended edition of The Battle of the Five Armies. I’ll be keeping the movie series on the list so I can watch it again with commentary. I wasn’t able to watch any movies from my lists the next weekend, but I did see 10 Cloverfield Lane.

Miguel Ferrer, an actor who was still working on NCIS: Los Angeles, died recently. The NCIS franchise hasn’t been doing well this season as both NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans had to get a new showrunner after the one they both had, Gary Glasberg, also died. I read that they were planning on writing out Miguel’s character on this show due to the actor’s health concerns. I don’t know yet if they will replace his character or not. I also don’t know if he will appear anymore as the last time his character showed up, he wound up shot and they could have already killed this character off long before his real death actually happened. I guess that we will see what happens later for sure.

The character he played, Owen Granger, was the assistant director on the show, but they went without one until he was introduced in the third season. I don’t know yet if they will find a new assistant director for the show or not. It would seem kind of rude to recast the part with a new character since he actually died. But they may have already planned that anyways. Meanwhile, they could use the character of Leon Vance, the main NCIS director, do double duty like they did before they introduced Owen onto the show. In fact, if you ask me, that might have been why they had an assistant director of NCIS on the first spin-off in the first place. I was wondering if we’d ever see an assistant director like Owen on the second spin-off or if they would upgrade him to director in case they wanted to get rid of the old director. On the main show, they briefly made use of a character named Jerome Craig to be acting director. If they could get the actor who played him back, Greg Germann, they could make use of the character again. He only appeared in season 10 of NCIS thus far.

What is probably the last episode of Conviction airs tonight so I will be able to live watch the future episodes of this until March when Shades of Blue starts again. There are a lot of great potential things airing at midseason on Sundays, yet weirdly scheduled after February sweeps. I guess that this is because of all the special programming scheduled that month like the Super Bowl, the Grammys, and the Oscars. I’m still wondering if there will be a post Oscar show. Jimmy Kimmel normally does that, but would he do double duty since he is already hosting the Oscars?

Today’s episode is brought to you by no delay. We begin first with three different flashbacks of a man wanting Sherlock’s help with an assault case, but Sherlock is too busy each time. I remember the second one the most as it had the possible killer doll and aired at the same time as the first episode of the great show Allegiance. In the present, the man takes over a diner full of people with a gun and that is when Sherlock is finally forced to help him. Watson has to stay in the diner as another hostage. Sherlock then goes out to investigate the case, but he doesn’t have much time to do it. He has until midnight before his carriage turns back into a pumpkin.

The second act has Marcus and Sherlock investigating the case. Sherlock uncovers information being investigated that could help with the case. The hostage taker (is that the right term?) explains that he’s only really after one person at the diner who he feels is responsible for nothing happening with the case thus far.

The third act has Sherlock trying to go after bad people which leads him to literally put on a shirt that has looking for bad people on it. One finds him and this leads him and Marcus to visiting a gang where they learn information that helps them with the case. When they leave the place, they find a location that has a bunch of maple syrup but also has links to drugs, it seems.

Sherlock is able to make a breakthrough in the case, but it comes too late as it is past the deadline. Nothing really bad happens at the diner as Watson is able to defuse the situation and keep the hostage taker alive where he gets arrested. As for the criminal, they are able to use a law the effectively extends when the statute of limitations is up via the criminal’s international travel and arrest him.

There are no scenes from next time as next week they are airing the Super Bowl. I’ll be rooting for the Ravens for two reasons: 1- they have never won the Super Bowl before and more importantly, 2- they are not the Patriots. I guess that we’ll see eventually who wins or doesn’t win, but life doesn’t always go the way you want it to. At least there is nothing really significant about football affecting the world so I won’t get too upset over a Patriots victory. Heck, I never even hated the fact that the Cubs won the World Series and I’m a Cardinals fan. We’ll see what happens later and I’ll be back with the next episode sometime then. January 15th, 2017’s Episode

Due to the Golden Globes last week, I missed various episodes of shows that I normally watch. I recorded this show and Madam Secretary on my laptop, but I missed everything else. The shows that they aired that I normally watch are The Simpsons, Son of Zorn, Bob’s Burgers, 60 Minutes, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Conviction. I missed all of them this previous week.

I’m in what I call a good weekend, basically meaning that I’m able to watch a movie on both Saturday and Sunday. I’m not always able to do that. The new show, Ransom, which is airing on Saturdays for no good reason, could potentially mess things up for me, but it wasn’t on this week. They aired a stupid Patriots game instead. But I did watch Return of Jafar on Saturday and replaced it with Star Wars: The Force Awakens. I’ll probably borrow the earlier movies sometime later this year. As for Sunday, I watched Run Fatboy Run with commentary and replaced it with Pleasantville.

Since I’m trying to get caught up with my Madam Secretary blog, if you ever see an older episode here instead of the most recent to air one, it is because I am catching up with where I was in that blog. The episode of this show that aired on 10-23-2016 is the oldest one that I’ll blog about. I have the post ready, but am planning on waiting until Lent to post it here.

Today’s episode is brought to you by no delay. We begin with a book of some sort that’s important somehow. Marcus is dating a woman who is in the process of getting divorced or is recently divorced. He gets into a fight with a person at a bar after accidently knocking his glass of alcohol to the ground. There are then random people in the woods going after a creepy clown. What’s with the creepy clown phases anyways? Has it gone away or have I just stopped hearing about it?

The second act has Sherlock being shown the dead body in the woods by the same actress that played Eric’s mother on That ‘70s Show. I wonder if she’ll be more important to the episode or not. The man that Marcus had a fight with was the ex-husband of the woman he’s now dating. The dead clown was part of something called prank-vertising, which I hope isn’t a real thing, but probably is. This creepy clown stuff is quite real. Sherlock has some sort of musical thing that plays circus music. I’m not sure how it relates to the case. Sherlock and Marcus learn that someone was poisoning a water supply area nearby that affects the whole city, it seems.

The third act doesn’t have much that I can catch. But it does have the idea of a superbug being introduced into New York City. It seems as if only a minor bug would have been introduced instead of a superbug. The guy who fought at the bar with Marcus may not have gone to the bar on a regular basis. That’s all I can catch of this act.

The fourth act has the problem identified that was prevented. Poisoning the water could have caused diarrhea in the area which would have affected people. Watson wants to install a new water filter into their house, but Sherlock is against that as he likes the water as is. He is able to use this information to go after a suspect who has a bunch of water in his garage, but this suspect is innocent as it isn’t the final act of the show yet. What shows catch the criminal before the final act?

The fifth act has Sherlock and his team catching the perp. I don’t fully understand who that person was. How did this all relate to a clown again? Sometimes shows can be confusing and not make sense. This is hardly the only show that had a beginning that didn’t relate in any way to the end of it. The Marcus thing seems wrapped up for the most part as he confront the guy at get him to not do whatever thing he was doing that related to the fight. January 8th 2017’s Episode

Well, the new year has started and I’ve decided to tell you about movies that I watch and the process that I go through in order to watch them. There are six movies on each potential list and currently two lists, although there is likely to be more added in the future. What are the current lists before the new year starts? Well, I might as well tell you. But first, I might as well tell you all of the Christmas stuff that I watched last year that I normally don’t always watch from year to year. Last year, I watched Thomas’s Christmas Celebration, Thomas’s Snowy Surprise, a recording of a Cantata that my church did once, a recording of the movie Christmas Vacation, a recording of the movie Home Alone 3, and the first season Christmas episode of 8 Simple Rules entitled All I Want for Christmas.

Saturday’s list currently has the following movies: Baby Boom, Celtic Woman concerts, Fireproof, Hancock, Indiana Jones series, and The Return of Jafar. Sunday’s list currently has the following movies: Back to the Secret Garden, Front of the Class, The Hobbit series, Nature Documentaries, Run Fatboy Run, and The Treasure of the Sierra Madre. I’ll plan on updating you on what I watch and replace on this list and if I add another new list, which seems very likely.

You might be wondering when I’m going to post the older episodes from this season that I have not yet blogged about. Well, this blog may get confusing around the time that Lent starts. I think that is when I will ultimately start posting older episodes that I haven’t posted yet. This will mean me not posting about what the current episodes are, but I should make them up later. My blogs can be confusing and if you don’t read my Madam Secretary blog, you should be glad as I haven’t even finished posting about last season on it yet.

Something that’s worth putting in this blog is that different family events, such as my sister having a baby really soon, meaning that any blog I do could be affected by anything family related. Hopefully I can continue doing these posts as planned every Thursday until Lent and then alternating Sundays until Lent is over and I post back on Thursdays again. March 5^th is the first planned Sunday post when things go back there again. But I thought that I would let you know about these things.

Today’s episode is brought to you by no delay. We begin with a woman who appears to be kidnapped in a weird way. The man responsible is confronted by Sherlock when Sherlock steals his phone which leads to a fight between the two of them.

The second act has more information being learned about the case. I’m not entirely sure if I’m hearing it as well on my laptop as it seems that my TV tuner has constant audio problems. Sherlock learns that the woman has been missing for around five years. What’s sad is that, in reality, there are people who have probably been missing longer.

The third act is when a man is arrested for possibly being an accomplice to the case at hand. Watson tries to talk to Shinwell more about what she feels he should be doing. It doesn’t seem like much progress is being made regarding the missing person case.

The fourth act is when it appears that the suspect in question escapes. But was he ever in police custody? I don’t fully understand a lot of this episode. Shinwell may be playing both sides or he could really be an evil, bad guy. They are able to find the missing person, but she says that there isn’t an accomplice that was ever there. Was it just one person?

The fifth act has them catching the bad guy of this episode, who, in fact, is a woman. The divorced wife of the dead(?) person who was on the beach is the person who might have shared in his crazy desires. It looks like she will be going away for some time. I’m not sure what’s going on with Shinwell, but it appears that he was able to unlock locks and that’s good somehow.

On the next Elementary, a murdered clown is the subject of the story. It makes me wonder if we will see any tie-ins to all those clown sightings that have happened in places. Creepy clowns have even been spotted around where I live. I guess that we will be back soon with the next episode. I know that they typically air a football playoff championship game soon that ends at around 7 Central time, pushes back the regular programming by an hour, and would cut off this show as it is now airing at 9 Central. Maybe that will not interfere with the next episode. Regardless, I’ll be back then. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.
